Outdoor Installation
This pieces was completed as a public art commission for the Skinker-Debalivier neighborhood in St. Louis, MO. It is a ceramic castable sculpture fired on-site as a performance event. Smaller pots created through community outreach were fired inside the sculpture. After the firing, the sculptural artifact was left as a functional planter in the community garden. The pots were excavated and distributed to community members.
